Purpose:
"The specific purposes for which the Corporation is formed include, but are not limited to, the promotion and production of literary events; to provide an educational forum for the study of the craft of writing; to serve and promote the literary arts on a local, regional, or national level; and to demonstrate the relevance of those arts to contemporary life and culture. To those ends, the Corporation shall sponsor such activities as are consistent with its tax exempt status, including, but not limited to, literary conferences, seminars, symposia, readings, publications, and study groups."
Pikes Peak Writers represents over 400 members, published and not-yet published in Fiction and Non-Fiction. Our educational focus is commercial fiction, but we support other writers in various programs througout the year. More info on non-fiction...
Membership:
Dues for Pikes Peak Writers are $35.00 for one year. For more information, visit our membership page.
Pikes Peak Writers offers several workshops throughout the year, an annual conference (PPW members get a discount) and the bi-monthly NewsMagazine. As well, PPW offers Write Brain sessions free to members, held on the second Tuesday of most months, covering a variety of writing-related topics

Pikes Peak Writers Conference:
Pikes Peak Writer's Conference will be held April 25-27, 2008 at the Colorado Springs Marriott. Registration for PPW members begins January 15, 2008.
