November is “National Novel Writing Month.” Celebrate with us by attending write-ins, setting a spectacular (or realistic) goal, and writing, writing, writing.
Ready, Set, Write!
November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) where writers around the globe put pens to paper and fingers to keyboards in an attempt to create brand-new
50,000 word novels in just one month’s time. Sound intimidating? It is, but it doesn’t have to be–
PPW invites all writers to “give it a try” with our variant called “NaNoTRYmo.”
For NaNoTRYmo, writers are invited to celebrate “NaNo” by setting individual writing goals, whatever those may be.
50,000 too much? How about 20,000? Or set a daily goal of 500 words. Not the word-count type? Set a weekly or daily goal for a number of writing hours. Don’t want to start a brand-new novel? You’re welcome to continue your work-in-progress, or take the editing pen to a completed draft. With NaNoTRYmo, your goals and limits are your own, so why not give it a try?
