Laura DiSilverio recently signed a three-book contract with Berkley Prime Crime (a Penguin subsidiary) to write a mystery series set in a beauty parlor in small town Georgia. The first book, TRESSED TO KILL, will be on bookshelves in June 2010.

Maureen Anderson broke into print with the publication of her short story, "Bridges", in the Sept./Oct. issue of "Writer's Journal" Magazine. The story took first place one of the magazine's contests, a win that included $150.00 in prize money.

Rod SummittMulti-Media Publications of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada purchased Crystal Dreams Publishing of Berlin, WI in October. Crystal Dreams is now a subdivision of MMP for fiction (MMP had previously not published fiction). - My romance-mystery novel,When Pasts Collide, (original publication date January 2006) has been re-released by CDP/MMP
- My mystery/suspense novel (with Richard Edgerton), Reunion with a Killer, (copyright 2006) while still available in limited quantities from CDP/MMP will be released June 1, 2008 with a new cover and a reworked format.
- My romance/suspense novel, The Nurse and the Deputy, not previously published, will be released July 1, 2008.
The contract date with MMP on all of these was October 22, 2007. Reunion with a Killer and The Nurse and the Deputy will be available in paperback, adobe PDF ebook, Microsoft LIT ebook, Mobipocket PRC ebook, and Palm PDB ebook.
