This inaugural event is intended to display the artistic value of writing to the public while demonstrating the inspirational strength of the visual arts. Pikes Peak Writers (PPW) stands as the preeminent organization for the betterment of writers along Colorado’s Front Range. This event is an effort to engage our member writers with the regional arts community and highlight the quality of writers living and working right here in the Pikes Peak region. By seeking inspiration from the outstanding visual art at the Cottonwood Center and then displaying finished writings alongside their selected inspiration, this event hopes to reveal the magic of art inspiring art.
